The team secured another beautiful New England summer evening for their second year collaborating with Outstanding in the Field founder Jim Denevan.
This year's event took place at Weir River Farm in Hingham, Massachusetts, a Trustees property featuring woodland trails, golden fields with wildflowers, and panoramic views of the ocean and Boston skyline from Turkey Hill.
Under green tents, the team prepared an authentic farm-to-table experience for 190 guests, smoking local vegetables, fish, and duck over their wood fire grill. Five New England oyster farms, including Unicorn Oyster Farm, shucked oysters during the opening reception.
As the pink sunset appeared and an almost-full moon rose, servers plated family-style dinners and poured paired wines from Martha Stoumen, hand-selected by Julia Bailey of Olmstead Wines.
During the closing ceremony, Chef Erin Miller spoke about the restaurant's commitment to local sourcing and building community through food and hospitality, receiving applause from the entire table.
The Urban Hearth chef team included Gabriel, Erin, Rebecca, and Luisana.
